Telephone Campaign
The University of Glasgow is working towards its ambitious strategic mission of making Glasgow one of the top universities and research facilities in the world. The University's alumni, donors, students and friends will play a huge role in making this possible.
We want to talk to you about what we’re doing to make this happen and how you can help. Telephoning our alumni gives us the opportunity to contact you personally, allowing us to find out what path you have taken since leaving university. It gives you a chance to have your say about the alumni services we provide. Receiving feedback and comments helps in developing what we offer and in planning for the future.
We have a team of excellent student callers who, like you, have benefited from previous investment in the University. We are very proud to have them as ambassadors, just as they welcome the opportunity to develop links between students past and present. Our students greatly enjoy speaking to alumni about current University life and are knowledgeable about the aims and potential benefits of all our fundraising campaigns.
Over the last nine years we've raised over £1m. Without these funds the University would not have been able to fully support capital campaigns or provide much needed support to University-wide projects.

The telephone campaign is also a great way of keeping in touch with our alumni. A strong alumni base is the foundation for any university and the goodwill we rece ive from our graduates is an inspiration and an encouragement to all who work and study here.
The Telephone Campaign also benefits from the generosity of local businesses who act as Corporate Benefactors, donating prizes as incentives for our hard-working student callers. Find out more about our current Corporate Benefactors.
