The creation of Fellowships, Lectureships and Chairs in new and established fields of excellence at the University allows us to attract the most talented researchers and academics from across the world to Glasgow.

Investing in our staff by the creation of key academic posts helps to support the development of our major and emerging areas of strength, as well as building on international research alliances. 

Early career researchers are also supported by the appointment of post-doctoral fellowships, awarded to rising research stars who have the potential to become leaders in their chosen fields.
