Clerk of Senate

Professor John Briggs is the Clerk of Senate with Vice-Principal status.

The Clerk of Senate is responsible for matters to do with: 

• the regulation of academic policy and practice
• the provision of advice and judgement on matters of an academic nature
• ceremonial events in the University
