Student numbers

More than 16,000 undergraduates and 6,000 postgraduates from 120 countries worldwide study at the University each year and they report high levels of satisfaction.

According to the independent National Student Survey 2011, an impressive 90% of our final year undergraduate students are satisfied with their course – well above the national average of 83%. And the International Student Barometer 2011 found our international students to be the most satisfied in the UK.
