Consultation
The development will take many years to complete, and we will not acquire the Western Infirmary site until 2015. Over the coming weeks and months we will be outlining some of the ways in which we want to actively encourage genuine and effective consultation with those who study, work and live near the campus. This is your campus and your university. We want to hear what your ideas, your concerns and your expectations.
A series of consultation events are being planned for 2013. These will help inform a framework for the redevelopment with a finalised report due in early 2014.
The first consultation events will take place in February 2013 on the following dates:
- Students and staff are invited to a drop-in event taking place at the new Welcome Point in the John McIntyre building (near the main gate) on Wednesday 20th February: 1000-1900.
- Local community, businesses and key stakeholders are invited to a drop-in event taking place at Hillhead Library, Byres Road on Monday 25th February: 1600-2000.
Please try to come along if you can. Members of the project team including university staff will be on hand to give you more information, take on board your suggestions and answer any questions you may have. Comments and feedback can be made and posted anonymously in a comments box, and a report on what was discussed will be placed on this website after each meeting.
